Nestled amongst paddy fields, down a crooked little ally sits an ordinary little house, but what goes on inside the little house is something a little bit different.
I enter to the smell of coffee and the offer of breakfast and after my second banana stuffed pancake I was led to what can only be described as 'a hub of creativity.' As I shuffle through the painting laden entrance way, the smell of resin hits my nostrils, it's scent overpowering and pleasing my senses simultaneously. I come out into a work space, surrounded by images and trinkets that flow together almost organically. Everything from magazine clippings to Bintang bottles call this space home. This my friends is the studio of the artist known as Andrew Wellman, and this is a look into where it all goes down.
